About Us

Department of Physics, of the Gramgeeta Mahavidyalaya Chimur is established department since 2009. Physics is a natural science based on experiments, measurements and mathematical analysis for the purpose of finding quantitative and Qualitative physical laws. The departmental laboratories is equipped with Instruments as well as department have highly qualified and dedicated faculty members. The faculty members are also involved in research, co-curricular & extra-curricular activities.

Goals & Objective

To create, apply, and disseminate knowledge of Physics in theoretical and experimental domains under different specializations.

To develop the ability to identify, formulate, analyze and solve problems in these domains of Physics at both curricular and research level through critical thinking.

To encourage research culture, provide research ambience and develop related technical proficiency.

To develop attitude to pursue further research.

To inculcate academic and social ethical values among the students.
