Mentor and mentees is one of the student centric systems which have been practiced in the institution from the session 2015-16. This is the most effective system functioning in the Institution and it bridges the gap between students and faculties. This system is very helpful to improve the performance of the students. The allotment of students to the mentor is discussed and decided in the staff meeting at the beginning of every academic year.

         Institute has Arts, Commerce and Science streams at UG level, Institute tries to provide fearless and productive environment and bridge the gap between students and teachers using Mentor – Mentee scheme. Practice of Mentor – Mentee is implemented according to UGC norms. Mentor has allotted mentees in each academic year. All the full time teachers are selected as mentors.

         Mentors and mentees have healthy discussion and ethical relation. Mentees disclose their complications to mentor regarding mental issues or if mentor observes any mental stress to mentees they start guiding and approaching them in class to make them relaxed from tension or by counseling them as well as pay extra attention to them.

         Role of mentor is not just to teach students but make them to understand and inspire them to learn and to provide facility to the students where they can get right to question, get proper answers and correct way to explore their imaginations. Different students have different ability to learn and even they have their own choices of learning so the Institute tries to provide social, educational, pleasant and mind stress free environment to the students.

         Mentors categorized mentees on the basis of social, educational, economical, mental, physical and any other problems which may become obstacle in overall progress of the mentee. To see whether the system is working effectively, meeting of mentors is organized time to time under the presided of the Principal of the college Dr. A. A. Dhamani.
